About Us

Beacon of Light Ministry has a foundation based in metaphysics, and is dedicated to fulfilling life's purpose through metaphysical work and by serving in the light of God.

According to the American Heritage Dictionary, "Metaphysics is the branch of philosophy that examines the nature of reality, including the relationship between mind and matter, substance and attribute, fact and value."

And the definition of Metaphysical Ministry is the belief, study and practice of God as The Source, The Absolute, The Creative Power surrounding and contained in all that exists.

Beacon of Light Ministry believes that religion and spirituality have a lot in common. Religion reflects the teachings of a particular organized religion, while spirituality is also commonly understood to be a belief in God, Spirit or divinity without necessarily being involved in a religion.

A person can be spiritual without being religious. We believe it is about one's personal connection with the divine. Delving into an understanding of spirituality should bring us into divine spiritual wisdom while growing closer into a relationship with God.

Beacon of Light Ministry is dedicated to the awareness of, and the furthering of one's spirituality toward empowerment and enlightenment. Our teachings are based on embracing and evolving the spark of Divinity that exists within each of us, and learning to live to one's fullest capacity.

Meet Our Minister

Reverend Beverly

As a metaphysical minister and counselor, Reverend Beverly has made a commitment to the spiritual underpinnings of life, and to finding ways to make spirituality practical in application so real change can be experienced.

Reverend Beverly is an ordained Metaphysical Minister and Metaphysical Practitioner through the International Metaphysical Ministry and the University of Metaphysics. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Montclair State University, and is licensed to teach in the state of New Jersey. She also received both a Bachelor and Master of Metaphysical Science degree from the University of Metaphysics.

Reverend Beverly is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Metaphysical Science from the University of Metaphysics in Sedona, Arizona.

As an aside...

After being at the top of her public relations career for almost 25 years, life has she knew it came to a screeching halt in 2004. Dozens of specialized doctor visits and extensive laboratory testing for more than a year revealed two very rare, incurable muscle diseases.

Once an extremely serious athlete, she was now bedridden and no longer able to live an independent life. She truly believed that life was no longer worth living. But God had a totally different plan for her!

Despite being diagnosed with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease and Polymyositis, God gave her the strength and direction to find a new way of living. A "revelation" of sorts, as she describes it.

She discovered that at the center of the human mind there is a primal energy or universal oneness in which she found an identity with all things. Even though it lasted only a few seconds, it was a life changing moment.

Through metaphysical meditation, deep spiritual soul-searching and understanding the workings of the mind, her life was transformed.

Reverend Beverly believes that the ultimate virtue of one's identity and being is in this physical body...with the life we are living today.

In metaphysics, it is taught that the subconscious must be cleared of negative thinking so that a person may enjoy maximum good health. And it is with the love of God, her family and friends that Reverend Beverly is striving for total remission.
